When darkness falls above my soul
How could I know what could it be
What keeps me safe, afar from foul

Let darkness come, I'm not afraid
For I have touched it deep inside
Its grip is strong, but starts to fade
If first of all, I kill my pride

And white is white, and black is black
But other voices say I might
I soon might find another track
Where white is black, and black is white
