In a translation contest it is hard to judge and to separate the translation from the beauty of the poem, especially when the author is making the translation and is trying to fell again the poem in a different language as the mother tongue.
But in your case it was not.

The translation contest represented a project I participated in with a smile on the inside. It was a pleasure to try to convert a message in a different form, but to try not to put in the shadow the initial idea. It was a real pleasure.
