TO THE ROSES
ROSES OF THE OCEAN by Sorana Lucia Salomeia The roses On the ocean shore Stand like Eternally snowed up queens Caressed by the Green, evening breeze, And blesses by the Holy moon With eternal graceful beauty. The roses Are pieces of the night Forgotten somewhere, In the corners Of an old altar, Under the pollen of the Midnight falling stars. The blue god Of the ocean Caresses their tired petals With feather – light waves Of marine kisses. Each rose Is a window That opens Neither outside Nor inside This giant soul – A window in space Underneath each rose A silver angel Finds a warm shelter That reflects Its ruby valences On his smooth, white wings – And when the stars go out, Pouring their Golden sand Towards the Rising, dreamy picture, Bathing the angels In new fragrances and lights, The holy lime tree, Shadowed by Time and melancholy, Opens its eyes And starts Shaking its Holy branches Near the night star’s temple.
