WHITE DREAM
by Sorana Lucia Salomeia A white dream Spreads its glittering magic Upon two eyes That now are being lulled asleep. The song is the mute melody Of the midnight whispers, The singer is the ghost Of the full moon’s light. The dream of this white night Is gracefully descending And gently fluttering its wings; It takes me far away From the saddened rain And anguish, My broken heart Finds healing for its pain. I am being carried On the wings of dreaming But not alone, I am with you, Under a sky of opal Where the ocean’s icebergs Split up in tiny floating blocks Of crystal ice. Unfolding its enriching spectral colors, The lace of the aurora Rises above us Like a fold of purple, gold and emeralds. Masts of healing light I see approaching; The ship has been so long Waiting to be found… It carries the strong hopes Of our inner dreams And vibrations, Lightly floating On the blue mirrors of the night. On a bay of silvery glass I see an image – A face forever shining – And then I know it’s you, The one in whose warm arms I have been dreaming. Copyrighted © Sorana Salomeia, Iasi, Romania
