THE MOON’S DEPARTURE
The moon is ill tonight… The crickets have fallen asleep One, by one, underneath a breath of murmurs. It is the night of on infinity, The night of the seven wishes… Or is it the time of the seven curses? I raise my eyes towards the heavens And fall on my knees: “Do not let her die!” I pray And then I see her Slide along the tunnel of departure,, Going behind the dark silhouette Of the winter’s ghost!
