DAWNING LIGHT
A clear sky like an angel’s tear Embraces a new dawn That is just waking up. The night stars set down one by one In holy silence To let the mild wind and calm waters Sleep some more. A white mist slowly rises Like dreamy silence Floating in the atmosphere, The skyline is the flame of an arrow That keeps running at the speed of light – A light that is pouring, Now falling in waves And overflooding, In its uncontrollable haste, The hills, the groves, the forests, The mountains and the oceans. Another arrow traverses The cold valleys And streaks of sunlight Blissfully shine in the sky The brightness intensifies And expends itself all over the plains The air is singing While whispers keep coming from the hills And in the magic of the moment The sun is smiling Like a vision Of eternal light and peerless beauty, The unique creature That awakes life from cold numbness, The altar of our mornings And everlasting hopes!
