What if I wake up one day and feel the need to fly high above
Straight to your window- would you let me in? Close the door in my face-or open it really fast and throw me into the fireplace. Wish you did put an end to my misery, Cause I’ve carried this burden so long On my back, that it’s starting to cripple me,Jack. What if I drown myself in tears- would you hand me a life ring Or wash me away like dirt in a kitchen sink? It’s funny-when I see you, I always seem to be shrinking. You and your black aura of absence Making me feel like the same stupid kid, Filled with gut feeling and tones of innocence.
