The moon halo
dissipates slowly… year’s dawn Wind roaring over the leafless branches – lit windows Icy air, among the bare branches blank silence Chilly weather with ice flowers at the window – alight candle First calligraphy- the shadow of limbs on the snow A raven’s shadow on the new snow cover - the empty yard Murky sky on the frozen ground compact rime A snow flake alights on my palm unwritten poem Frosty branches — warmth of your lips on my palm Ringing frost – on the tea cup bottom Japanese sketch Blizzard – the cat is purring in my arms By the fireplace a glimmering flame… winter wind
