Când te-ntorci,
iubireo,
adu-mi privighetoarea
făgăduită.
Dar adu-mi-o împreună
cu ramura
pe care cântă.
Prea repede nu veni –
pasărea vei stârni.
Prea încet nu păși –
frunza va îngălbeni.
