"Go not to where there's no come back!
Don't think that land is yours to sack! The Mighty, in their Ring of Doom, Still watch over the Earth in gloom. It saddens us to see ye fell From Grace to loath, under his spell. He hates the World, and ye no less, Go back, while evil's to redress!" "Ye may be right, we may be wrongā¦ Yet, as I deem, we're also strong! Though dark this day may seem to ye, It bares no ill, as ye shalt see! For, mark my words, this hour now Is for the Great a doom, somehow; And, though an end, a Shadow's fall, We'll die no moreā¦ at least not allā¦" And thus they passed, the ships of might, Fading away with the sunlight; Across the land, across the sky, With Darkness spreading as a lie; Across the sea, across the sands, Where once green stood, now nothing stands. A water waste, that was the cost, The Land of Gift, for ever lostā¦
