When having a glass of wine
make sure to sip it slow
and don’t forget also to dine
or off to jail you’ll go…


Now this may not rhyme every time
or say what I want to say
it may be the rum and the lime
or, maybe I’m having an “off” day

Off to work and off to play
can be done without libations
but will I remember what to say
it otherwise awkward situations…

I am not a drinker of drinks
just a sipper of sorts
may it not stop my “thinks”
those wines, sherries and ports…
