You sat in the corner.
You smoked your cigar till the end. No words spoken. I missed your face in the dark. No lips whispering. No tremble, no music, no tear falling from my cheek. You sat in the dark. You counted my breathing, like God counts his sheep, like the mountain counts its snowflakes. The air moved, while our love melted. You paused on the last tempo of the piano. You shook your head and sorrow took your seat.
