He was comfortably lying in his armchair
With his two long legs like two branches
Delightfully spread
With his finger, nervously fretting
In theirs thirst from a space, like some leaves.
His kind smile wrapped my being...
His face was getting blurred
At my timid approach.
I was waiting for him to tell me something
While my eyes, like some buckets from a well
Be filled up with tears.
I was caught by a thrill of happiness
And I pressed the button of the night-lamp.
Suddenly, the room filled with light.
Beyond the window
The lightning were crossing the sky ceaselessly,
The thunders were shaking the walls.
And exhaustingly I sank in my armchair
Felt the remaining heat.
Yet, it had been just a vision.
