Uncertainty is the path I travel
the path to freedom. Uncertainty is the horse I ride that gallops through the field of all possibilities. Uncertainty is the wallet I stash in my back pocket, stuffed with credit cards from banks with no capital. Uncertainty is the pen which writes my life as I live it as it carries me along. Uncertainty is my lover, bright woman of mystery, her rolling hips enticing me onward--and upward! Uncertainty lies just beneath the surface of our mundane lives, it inhabits our habits, it unstitches the careful weave we've given our day, it pulls the thread and shows us thereby the true direction of our lives, shows us their singularity. Uncertainty is our truest friend, our most loyal companion, our wife, our spouse, our boon companion, our sidekick, pardner, our priest and confessor, our moral stockbrocker, our movie producer and director, the impresario of our daily lives. Uncertainty, I embrace you today this moment, and sorrow over my infidelities with Certainty, she, who in the end always betrayed me.
