To George Orwell, in memoriam
In all the courtyard the smell of fresh-baked bread; just the dog enchained * An empty courtyard – sitting on the clothes line a flock of swallows * A horse is grazing – perchedon the parade saddle a long-tailed magpie * Sat in the front yard only a man and a dog – the full Universe * A fisher’s hamlet. On the chimney the crane’s nest neighboring the sky * A horse being shoed – the dog is alse hitting the air with the paw * Fost in the orchard – the canteen for singing birds plundered by the crows * After a yoke-day the buffalo goes grazing with a crow on his back * Cats in heat again – only some steps away hesitates the fall * Under the white beat grandmother is dozing off – the cat is purring * The dog immobile in the middle of the road… The New Year passes!
