Loneliness does foolish things,
You can see it walking triumphantly in the streets of the large cities, You can see it perversely knocking about In some of the most sophisticated world's dancing saloons, Always wearing a smart evening dress, stuck like a burr to bodies By nobody desired. Loneliness does foolish things when dazzling Everyone's questions. It doesn't like to pass unnoticed, It elbows its way through the crowd, It screams, hysterically laughs and almost devours Anyone it enmeshes... It enters your soul through the back door, It's a cadger you invite at the top of your table. Loneliness eats your memories, and drinks all your dreams, And then, pity you! What's in the store for you later! You watch it rummaging your stuff from top to bottom, Trying on, as sick skinned as it can, your memories and your beautiful Sunday clothes, Blowing up your soul Encrusted in the philosopher's stone... On the very brink of the events, you assess the losses and think: "Oh, no! This mess cannot be my life!" Before the early dawn, after it makes you groan while pleading for mercy, Loneliness retires in its corner, dragging Legions of dead body carrions. It's just morning, eventually, You can hardly feel your bones and your voice and your heart, It's the end of the world, you believe, And you think you've survived The Apocalypse. Loneliness, shrewd, Smiles from its corner, with a grim look, And counts its victims As if they were the great lottery ticket money. It allows the day bless everyone with the delusion That Hope Is the last to die... It knows best that another night follows , and our soul fortresses can't be Anymore Adopted by Light! And then... What a shamelessness moment Suggested To this disastrous Character!
