Man and Time
poetry [ ]
man (kind)

There was a man trapped into an hourglass
From past to present he couldnā€™t pass
He was moving weird and jumping in the sand
Trying to retrieve the time he had spent
Sailing on the sea.

After a while he got tired and offered a resign
But life is not a simple and stupid line
Across our reaching hands when we pray
It can straighten things up or waylay
Our minds, our hearts.

A little bit of faith with warmth of the heart
Succeeded to break the hourglass apart
Hope then dragged the future inside the man
Saying, you know, if you want you can
To be good and kind.

Life should be understood in terms of right,
Love, kindness, tenderness and fight
Only for these things that blossom and live
In a heart that knows how to give
Not just to receive.
