Once upon a clear sky spring
Flew a dragon 'cross my path, Fought the demons of the land, Took me gliding on his wing; Welcomed in his wonderous home, That would soon become my own, One day I would love his king, All this on a clear sky spring. Once upon a summer blaze I was led deep in the wild, Found I was but a mere child, In blessed waters saw my gaze; Marveled by the sacred kingdom, I would stay and grow in wisdom Far from mortals and their craze, On a golden summer blaze. Once upon a copper fall My betrothed lured my heart, Touched the godess on the chart; Soon we fought a ragging war To protect the green of peace, Paid the price with one last kiss, Had to heed our duty's call, All that on a copper fall. Once upon a winter freeze Flew the dragon 'cross my path, One last time back in his land I would feel the mountain breeze; Our farewell would pain us deep, On our trail the land would weep; For the last time on my knees, On a silver winter freeze.
