My shoes are dancing
far away from my feet, in other lands, where music is louder, where dance is not forbidden, where joy is freedom and freedom is joy. I am barefoot in this dream of mine, moving dancelike behind my lashes, where nobody can see me, where dance is not forbidden where joy and freedom are androgyne. I am empty of restrictions in this poem of mine, where I am not limited by shoes and clothes... where I can dance without people judging my mistakes, where joy and freedom are one. I might not have the shoes --which are dancing on other feet,maybe-- but I will always have the music, the dance and the rhythm.
