She writes
where the silent tears bear, cross the frontier of thoughts open, wide, grasping, gasping that longing prevails upon a beat That thuds deep within her chest That cavity of pain that haunts drifts upon her sweet face curls upon the lashes Holds for a split second in time Then drips down upon her cheek. She has weathered much upon life's course seen the tailwinds bite, felt the raging fire That dressed her fresh and new to a different mode of being, seeing She separated her heart from the world held back giving free that expression That eternal want within her bones To love and be loved. Sometimes She seems to let loose a little those barriers that so hold her promise caged like a bird, at times she opens that door to allow the chance of flight Her hopes aspire, want released, longs the flight no sooner seen, felt within that heart the wall starts to shudder, than she grips and slams shut her expression For fear she would not survive.
