As childish fears and dreams shadow,
And doubt is creeping in the youth We cry aloud, begin to wonder… If life and death are not alike. When trying to stand and beg for freedom They break our knees with heavy load There is no peace between the twilights, There is no magic in our blood. Nature itself screams in dispair Wielding on us thousands of waves Salvation gone, nobody near This is the end of our race. On the last day, in final hour The young may pleade or try to bargain, But all is lost, the soul is sour Even our esence is now burden. We dare to prey, to ask for something In this black age satan’s arrived We fight in vain, we die for nothing… It’s like we’ve never even lived.
