The sky is on fire this winter's night
to warm a trembling land frosty shadows treading light their misty breath rising high and white over lonely fields The moon shines a tender light for a hungry fox to find his prey the stars paint pictures on the sky to brighten children's dreams and lay a diamond carpet at their heels Somewhere two lovers embrace a ewe is feeding her lamb the hare escaped without a trace the fox keeps warm deep in his den darkness covers his sleepless rest No sound disturbs this night so still our dreams of the summer sun in a house on the lazy hill I am waiting for you to come and a freezing bird is stirring in its nest Sybille (Sydney)Krivenko 2006
