Lazy fields sleeping under white sheets, mountains with silver caps like my little house under a fluffy hatā¦ smilingā¦ Inside in my cosy mess, Iām looking out at this crystal peace busy dressing my own Christmas tree, inside my heart, sweeping away all hate and fear, under the carpet, into a corner, to be forgotten in the light of all the candles I can find Angel hair and red apples, jewels of compassion, fruit of forgiveness for one day at leastā¦ I cage them the crows in my head, keep them quiet, turn them into dovesā¦ to chatter sweet loving tunes like the birds outside make us believe when they pick my food, their knowing eyes say āthank youā, maybe their songs say it, too... Sybille (Sydney) Krivenko 2006
