Cu genunchii la gura, cu pumnii strânsi,
Dorm pruncii în pântecul mumelor,
Gingase semne de intrebare.
Cu trupul drept, cu fata în sus,
Dorm mortii în adâncul pamântului,
Rigide semne de exclamare.
Ce-or fi aflat? Ce categorici sunt!
