Yesterday I talked to a good friend of mine about values. What it means to be a person of value. How do you “catch” and grow them inside your soul? In my case, I came to appreciate many things due to her and another person. Why? Cause at that point I just looked into their eyes and saw the best that an individual could “possess”. What? Kindness, friendship, ambition, consideration and many others. I came to perceive them as real values. Now one of my “teachers” still has them, the other one let them lose their strength in time. I ain’t saying that other people did not have a certain impact on my perception, but those two were the most obvious, from my point of view. I thank them both!
Can amity for two seasons still be called friendship? Only for such a short time cause… the explanation might come from someone I know: you don’t get close to people who are not at your own level, in terms of personality, ways of seeing things, thoughts (if you know what I mean). Don’t misunderstand me, it’s like that saying: tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are. I so consider that I have truly lost someone I still care about (“do you really?”). Why? A small part has the words: different steps. Cause everything else breathes along with it. I sometimes wish… nothing had ever taken place, other times I dream “it” is still awaken. Just thoughts written on a plain background… for this human’s soul is far away. Sunday, 05 November 2006 19:19:45
