Literary Translation - Translations of classic and original poetry and other materialsThis text is a follow-up  |

Joanna Mary, it was a wet night of February
when I said: I want to walk with you on the streets
and I want to give you a flower.

Thus began,
city in that night was a boat
preparing to go away
and you were walking on the streets with me
for the very first time.

The city, in that night was full of darkness
people went hurry in all directions
preparing the world's great travel
and we had to be taken and gone away
without knowing.

You were walking besides me
in the darkness
and I seemed to hear you singing
a song
slowly throughout
more for your thoughts
from the evening
when I was walking for the first time besides you.

It was a night of February
the fantastic beginning of a story
Joanna Mary,
and the flower you were holding in your hand
it was red.
