Those, we don’t cherish to remember,
come to us in our dreams; midnight dreams, knocking aloud, these wanted/unwanted, desired/undesired guests, deadly intruders, sitting on fuzzy edges, talk to us, laugh, eat with us, play, oftentimes weep, writhe in pains, quarrel with us, and make our intense memory ebb in our dreams. They leave us, amid the magnified meaning of life. And in the magnified meaning of life we are at cross-purposes with our negatives unable to live with them, or without them, as if we have lived totally meaningless life like water that has never warbled.
